It also accompanies an online course offered through Royal Arts Healing Academy, which explores a deeper level of personal development.

Laura has also written and designed a children’s book and program called, Free to Be Me. This was created to support children to communicate their feelings and explore helpful ways to express emotions.

Laura is a Registered Psychotherapist and certified Life Coach. She supports individuals through a variety of programs designed to meet people where they are and guide them to where they want to go.

She has studied ancient modalities and practices that have been used for thousands of years to support human evolution and progression. She has trained for many years and certified through the Modern Mystery School.

Laura is a certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher, and student of Ayurvedic alternative medicine. She believes combining eastern and western practices can create an all encompassing approach to health and wellness.

Laura is also the founder of Medical Mindfulness. This practice is designed to support practitioners, healthcare workers, therapists, and other service providers in developing an expansive awareness to their personal growth and manifestations. Through this expansion, practitioners are then trained to guide their clients through this process of personal growth as well.

Laura has travelled and lived all over the world, from North America to Australia, and everywhere in between.  Laura spent time living in different areas of Italy to teach English to school-aged kids. She worked for an international development organization called Rayjon, which brought her heart into international developing projects in Haiti, Dominican Republic, and later to orphanages and projects in Africa. Laura began traveling around the world to learn more about people, cultures, and different ways of living. She soon learned that there is much more that brings people together, than divides them. Laura travelled through countries in Europe and Africa, including Morocco, Namibia, South Africa, Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya. She spent time in Asia, including Hong Kong, Thailand and Fiji; as well as South America including Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, and Peru. She taught in Costa Rica, and of course travelled throughout the United States of America, Canada and Mexico. Laura specifically dedicated her international work to education, children and families.

Laura has worked with children, youth and families for over 15 years and counting.  She specializes in parenting, anxiety, and suicide prevention.  After her community experienced more than half a dozen youth suicides in a very short period of time, Laura supported youth in schools and through counseling.  While working in the children’s program at the Sarnia St Joseph’s Hospice, supporting many children and youth through devastating suicide experiences, Laura began to specialize in suicide prevention. She volunteered on the local Suicide Prevention Committee, answered phones for the Crisis Line, received certification to teach SafeTalk, and became a spokesperson for suicide prevention. She soon founded The Good Deeds Project, which became a global movement and suicide prevention program designed to bring awareness to the power of kindness. Laura travelled through Canada and the USA to film The Good Deeds Project documentary.  Her goal was to reach 7 billion good deeds, one for every person on the planet.

Laura has worked with many teachers, healers and specialists all over the world.  She began to deepen her healing and metaphysical studies through the Lineage of King Salomon, sacredly kept in one of the 7 Mystery Schools in the world, currently known as, The Modern Mystery School.

Laura began offering her own healing practice in 2008 when she first discovered Reiki.  She would work one-on-one with clients, as well as host gatherings called, Tea Tuesday's to discuss various topics.  She soon branched into teaching workshops and retreats.  In 2014, Laura opened Cafe Yoga, where she hosted different musicians and artists for First Friday events.  She held a variety of classes and services to support people through personal development, psychotherapy, and metaphysics. In 2022, Laura was awarded Entrepreneur of the Year at the Outstanding Business Achievement Awards, through the Sarnia-Lambton Chamber of Commerce.

On the side, Laura owns a publishing company, grows an e-commerce membership store, has co-facilitated an education program for kids called The Alternative, and is an app developer, creating the ROYAL MEMBER app.

Laura is a writer, entrepreneur, healing arts facilitator, teacher, student, wizard, and joyologist.  She enjoys a day at the beach, an evening sunset, a breezy bike ride, and a hot chai latte with oat milk.  Laura's heart and deep care for humanity is her guiding star to the projects, programs, and services that she offers and continues to grow.

Laura is excited to cross paths with you and offer the tools, techniques and services to support you on your journey.
